CARFAX reports 155,434 miles, 29 service history records, two previous owners, personal use, and long-term Indiana ownership.

    This Expedition was originally equipped with the upgraded Rapid Spec 202A package, adding several desirable comfort and convenience features. According to the original window sticker on page 1, equipment includes leather bucket seats, heated and cooled front seats, power-folding third-row seating, a power liftgate, rearview camera, SYNC voice-activated system, Sirius satellite radio, running boards, and more.

    Capability is another strong point. The factory window sticker lists the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package, along with a heavy-duty radiator, heavy-duty transmission cooler, trailer sway control, and Class IV trailer hitch receiver. It was also equipped with 20-inch premium painted aluminum wheels. Original MSRP was $44,840.

    CARFAX is especially strong on this Expedition. It reports no accidents or damage, no structural damage, no airbag deployment, and no indication of an odometer rollback. It also reports no open recalls.

    The maintenance history is extensive. Records show numerous oil and filter changes throughout its life, along with tire service, brake inspections, and other routine maintenance. At 117,008 miles, the front brake calipers, pads, and rotors were replaced, an alignment was performed, and tires were replaced. In February 2024, the brake fluid was changed and the front brake calipers and pads were replaced again, with the front rotors and brakes also serviced. The most recent CARFAX service shows an oil and filter change at 155,434 miles in November 2025.

      “Built Ford Tough” definitely applies to this vehicle. It shares the same body-on-frame chassis as the F-150. I have traveled all over the Midwest with this vehicle and have had no substantial issues. Safe vehicle for kids, good trunk space with third row down, and decent interior materials.       Powerful and reliable but…

      We love our Expedition! It’s a great tow vehicle, has the heavy duty tow package installed, so we haul our 36 foot trailer without issues (needs anti-sway bars of course). It’s reliable and has all the bells and whistles like cooling our rear ends. Here’s the problem: the AC system really sucks. We have spent thousands of dollars to repair and replace stuff and to this day it is not working. We live in Florida so that is literally not cool!!! What the heck Ford??? Also this vehicle was priced at $61k when it was new, now it’s worth about $6000, 10 years later. That speaks volumes. Hopefully newer models will improve this glaring oversight.…
